The 3 Ables - Critical Components of Online Marketing Success

It's hard to believe that not all online marketers know this.  So it's still somewhat of a secret weapon, because that means maybe your competitors don't know it yet either.

So listen up!  What I'm going to tell you is an easy way to remember a critical lesson for online marketing.  With the "3 Ables" in your e-marketing toolkit, you can't NOT be successful!

Your online marketing campaign needs to satisfy three fundamental goals to be successful.  It must be...

  1. Findable
  2. Credible
  3. Actionable

Findable means your customers must be able to find you right when they're ready to buy.

Credible means your business must be perceived as authentic and reputable.

Actionable means your message must compel readers to do something.

Every single online marketing activity you perform must support at least one, and preferably two, of these goals.

For example, I'm writing my blog right now.  This activity supports my Findability, and my Credibility.  And to a certain degree it can be Actionable as well because I will sometimes ask my readers to do something.

So blogging is clearly a very important task for me.  And considering it only takes me a half hour a week, it's a very efficient one as well.

So next time you are working on your online marketing, ask yourself:  Is this helping my business become more Findable or Credible?  And is my message Actionable?  If you can't answer yes to at least one of these questions, stop that activity immediately and go do something else...  something that is going to help your business grow.
